School Project

Common Purpose:
To fit out Deaf children and teachers with deaf-sos emergency call units. A simple, but effective unit to upgrade the emergency call possibilities of Deaf people to the level of hearing ones.

Define the Problem.
Do you notice a possible lack of security for Deaf children or their Deaf teachers e.g.
a) on their way to school or
b) on school class excursions or
c) sport activities outside,
so that they couldn’t connect to emergency services (e.g. 112 or 911) to all times and at all places?
Is it possible, that available emergency systems for the Deaf (TTY, TDD or fax) are not reachable to all times and at all places, because of location based varying emergency call numbers (they can’t know these numbers, when leaving their home)region!)?

Determination of Requirements.
Find out the quantity of the needed deaf-sos units.
